Happy Friday lovely ladies! I hope all of you had a fantastic week! I was so grateful I got to travel to Costa Rica last week for spring break with some of my family. I went with my husband and a few of our kiddos (we have 5 between the 2 of us, blended family) and 2 of their friends. We rented a lovely house in Playa Santa Teresa. The photo of the pool and hammock above was our backyard, the view was absolutely beautiful! Our house was located just steps from the beach and there was a fabulous beach restaurant right next door to our house which meant no cooking for me which is always a plus when you are on vacation! We did zip lining through the gorgeous jungle which was super fun and exciting, the kids really enjoyed this! We also went on a snorkeling adventure with Zuma Tours and took a large boat ride away from shore about an hour to a gorgeous coral reef where we snorkeled and saw 100’s of beautiful fish. The boat took us to an island where the sand was white and the water was crystal clear and calm, we enjoyed a delicious lunch of fresh fish prepared by the islanders. This was by far my favorite thing we did. We spent about 2 hours on the island and then came back and spent the rest of the day by the pool. We went into town a few times which was more than enough for me. This was the only part of Costa Rica I didn’t like, the roads were not paved so lots of dust was flying around and the ride was very bumpy! I would recommend staying at the resort or house you are staying in and not leaving until it’s time to head to the airport!
I hope all of you enjoyed your spring break! Thank you for stopping today! Have a wonderful weekend! XOXO, Heather
