THE ONE TREND ALMOST ANY AGE CAN WEAR

Dallas is an amazing city with so many amazing places to shop and dine!  One of my all time favorite stores in Dallas is The Shak located at 500 Crescent Court S 100, it’s a super cool boutique carrying so many amazing brands and lines of contemporary clothing, jewelry, and shoes.  Some of my favorite brands they carry are Rag and Bone, Alice & Olivia, Ulla Johnson, Joie, Veronica Beard, and Loeffler Randall.  If you live in Dallas and are looking for a unique boutique that won’t have what everyone else has you must check out The Shak!  Every time I go in there I end up finding amazing pieces that everyone else won’t have to add to my wardrobe!

My cold shoulder top is by Drew, a high-quality yet reasonably priced designer, I’m a huge fan of this line!  This top represents the cold shoulder trend that can actually be worn by almost any age and here’s why:  our shoulders are the one part of our bodies that don’t show our age as much as some others.  This top is so comfortable and airy, perfect for the really hot days we have every summer in Dallas!  It pairs well with jeans, but would also look super cute with some cut-offs and wedges for a more casual look.  It runs true to size, I’m wearing a size XS.  This versatile top showcases two very hot trends: cold shoulder and stripes making it a definite must-have!  There are limited sizes on line so please feel free to call and order your size over the phone at 214-871-3641.

My amazingly slimming jeans jeans are by Rag and Bone, one of my all time favorite denim designers.  Since I wear jeans a ton I’m always looking for some that aren’t like your average pair of jeans and these are definitely different and extremely flattering! They’re high-rise so they make your legs appear longer and slimmer and who doesn’t want that?!  Also, I love the zipper detailing on the ankles, I left it unzipped a bit to make the jeans even more interesting!  They’re the perfect length to show off your favorite shoe of the moment!

And my favorite shoe of the moment happens to be these fabulous platform heels by Marion Parke.  They’re super comfortable and the color is extremely versatile, they literally match almost everything in my wardrobe!  I love these heels paired with jeans, but they also look amazing with dresses and skirts!  I highly recommend adding these versatile platforms to your shoe wardrobe, you’ll find yourself wearing them a ton!

My brown choker is by Chan Luu, another favorite designer of mine!  As most of you know, I’m a HUGE fan of chokers and wear them almost every day!  I adore this brown leather choker because it goes with everything and really adds that perfect edge to any casual look!

My chic brown handbag will take you from day to night beautifully!  It’s the perfect size, it’s big enough to hold all my essentials, but to too big that it overwhelms me!  The color is so versatile, perfectly matches my shoes and choker.  I’ll be pairing this fabulous handbag, my shoes, and my choker with all of my spring and summer ensembles and I’m sure if you add these amazing pieces to your wardrobe you will be too!
