The Best New Make-Up Line…Ever

I was beyond excited to be able to not only meet THE Charlotte Tilbury, but have an intimate make up and beauty tutorial with her and a few other bloggers.  For those of you who haven’t heard of Charlotte, she is known as the most talented make-up artist in the business!  She has done make-up for numerous celebrities such as Kate Moss, Sienna Miller, Penelope Cruz, and Gwyneth Paltrow to name just a few.  She has worked in the make-up industry for over 20 years and decided to come up with her own of make-up line which launched about a year ago.  The only place in Dallas that her make up is sold is at Nordstrom in Northpark.  She has the most amazing british accent – I loved listening to her talk about her fabulous line and what her personal favorites were that she couldn’t live without.  Here’s a list of her favorite products and why she and so many of her celebrity clients can’t live without:

1.)  The Clay Mask – she said she puts this mask on every morning, yes, every morning and it makes her skin smooth, soft, and shrinks her pores.  If she skips a morning she said she can absolutely tell the difference!!  I was sold, I bought the mask that day and have been using it ever since.  My skin is brighter, smoother, and my make up seems to stay on better!

2.)  The Magic Cream – this cream got it’s name because Charlotte came up with a special mix of creams that she used on her clients before applying their foundation.  It gave the perfect amount of moisture and has anti-aging elements that make your skin look and feel fabulous!  I’ve started using this myself as well and I can for sure tell a difference!  My skin feels smoother and tighter and my foundation seems to go on better and stay on longer.  This cream also sold out with in 6 minutes the first day is was available on line!

3.)  Super Model Body Shimmer – She also said that we shouldn’t forget about the rest of our body!  We spend so much time on our face that sometimes we forget about our legs and arms and chest.  This body cream gives your legs and arms that perfect amount of dewey shimmer and a bit of color – it’s similar to a self tanner without the smell and it doesn’t rub off on your clothes either!!

4.)  Eye Palettes – Her eye palettes are so amazing!  I love them because they all come with 4 colors.  She said the top two colors are for day time, add the third color on the bottom right for dusk time, and the fourth color on the bottom left for a fun night out on the town!  Also, the top lightest color acts as a shadow base as well.  I have been wearing her eye shadow now for a little over a month and I love it because it doesn’t rub off as the day goes on.  My eye make-up looks the same at 6 pm as it did at 10 am right after I applied it!  Another thing I love about her eye-shadow palettes is  they tell you which eye palette you should use according to your eye color.  She saw me and the first thing she said is that I should wear the “Uptown Girl” palette because it’s made for blue eyes.

5.)  The Uptown Girl Set –  She offers 13 different looks sold in sets.  Each set comes with an eyeshadow palette, blush, lip stick, lip pencil, mascara, eye liner, lip gloss, and a make up bag.  A great value and she lists the celebrities under- neath each look that she has used them on.  The “Uptown Girl” is a look that she has done on Gwyneth Paltrow.
