THE RIGHT WAY TO WEAR A PONCHO

Happy Monday! I hope all of you had a fun weekend! For those of you that know me well, you know I’m literally always freezing, I’m extremely cold natured and have been since I was a little girl. That’s why I always take a jacket or poncho of some sort with me when I go to the movies or a restaurant, and even when I travel. This black poncho is always packed in my carry on bag and has come with to many movies and dinners, it’s the perfect thing to throw on over whatever I’m wearing to stay warm while still looking chic and stylish. This black poncho is super fabulous because it’s cozy and soft and price point is AMAZING, only $69, a definite must-have!
Now let’s talk about what to pair with a poncho. It’s easy to end of looking frumpy if you’re not careful, because ponchos are oversized it’s important to keep everything you wear with it very fitted and simple. I chose to pair my poncho with my favorite high-rise coated jeans by J Brand, they are super slimming, make your legs appear longer and leaner, and they don’t bunch up or stretch out like most real leather leggings or pants do. I highly recommend adding a pair of these coated jeans to your wardrobe, you’ll be so glad you did!

My top is simple and fitted, and I chose to tuck it in and pair it with my favorite Gucci belt that I know I wear way too much, lol! My fitted jeans, tucked in simple top and my sleek over the knee boots ensure that this poncho look is anything but frumpy!
