Another ‘Streed Edit’ is here with my good friend and fellow Dallas Fashion Blogger, Tiffany Davros, of Street Style Squad.  We chose to feature these amazingly chic jeans from a new line of denim called AOLA.

SHOP OTHER FAVORITE KIMONOS – THE ONE ITEM EVERY WOMAN SHOULD ADD TO HER SPRING WARDROBE:

DENIM REVIEW:  My uber high waisted and ultra slimming jeans are by a new line of denim created by Alice & Olivia called AOLA.  They are only sold at Neiman Marcus and Alice & Olivia.  When I tried these jeans on I immediately fell in love!  They’re super high-waisted, the rise is 11.5 inches instead of the normal 10 inch rise which is what most high waisted jeans are so they really make your waist look tiny and your legs look crazy long, who doesn’t want that?!  I love the wash, sort of a faded black grayish wash which is my favorite wash of jeans because they go with EVERYTHING.  They’re not super stretchy so they do a great job of holding their shape and I love the little bit of distressing they have on the front pocket.  The length is perfect too for me, I didn’t even have to have these hemmed like I usually do with most of my jeans so that was a plus!  If your petite like me, 5’4 or under these jeans will be the perfect length!  If you’re taller they’re amazing too, they will just hit you more above the ankle which is also a very flattering length.  You can view the entire line of AOLA at Neiman Marcus by clicking HERE.  I highly recommend adding these uber slimming jeans to your denim collection, trust me, you’ll find yourself wanting to wear them all the time, I know I do!

THE ONE PIECE EVERY WOMAN SHOULD ADD TO HER CLOSET THIS SPRING: THE KIMONO

My fabulous black kimono is also by this line, AOLA, and I’m obsessed!  There is nothing chicer or more glamorous than a long kimono!  This high quality material is wrinkle free so this would travel very well!  I’m going to LA in a few weeks and I’ll be taking this with me for sure!  I love wearing it over a swim suit as a cover-up for an uber chic pool side look too.  You could also pair it with jeans or over a fitted dress for an ensemble that’s sure to turn a few heads!  I also found this one on Revolve that I love too that is on sale for a fraction of the price.

My subtly sexy bralette is by Anine Bing and available at Shopbop.  I’ve been wearing it a ton lately under tanks and sweaters, it really adds the perfect amount of sexy in a tasteful way to any look!  It’s actually very comfortable too, I’m wearing a size small.  I also found this one by Madewell at Nordstrom that I love too, it’s very similar, but only a fraction of the price!  If you don’t already have a pretty black lace bra I highly recommend adding one to your wardrobe, it will quickly become one of your favorite pieces!
