HANDS-DOWN: THE 10 CHICEST SWIMSUIT COVER-UPS

This full length cover up from Revolve is probably my favorite of all the cover ups I have featured in this post. It is sheer yet provides great coverage and I love the fringe detail on the bottom. I love the gold one the best since it goes with everything, but it does come in 3 other colors to suit any taste.

The Zene Fringe Mini Skirt from Revolve is another fantastic option on my list of best swimsuit cover-ups for women over 40. It has an elastic waist for easy on/off and I’m totally smitten with the fringe hem detail. It also looks very chic with the matching top, which I’ve linked below. I’m wearing an XS in this super fun piece.

As I mentioned above, the fringe skirt has a matching top which I have and love but I simply chose not to wear it in this look since I’m wearing the gold kimono. Both pieces look great styled together and solo, you really can’t go wrong with either choice!

This black maxi cover-up from Nordstrom has a major Greek goddess vibe and I am here for it! It features a  sexy plunging neckline and an easy drawstring waist that elongates your silhouette. I also love the detail in the gathered shoulders and the overlapping side-slit skirt. This cover up is made with a soft knit material that will keep you comfortable AND stylish all day long and for under $100 you can’t go wrong!

This Camilla beaded kimono is honestly so beautiful, I couldn’t make a list of the best swimsuit coverups for women over 40 without including it. It is a super versatile item of clothing because you can wear it as a kimono over a black midi dress as well. This fantastic investment piece can take you straight from the pool to dinner and is a piece you’ll have in your closet forever.

This over-sized shirt cover up is made of 100% viscose and is semi sheer so it is very light and has a lovley airy feeling to it. I love that you can wear it buttoned or un-buttoned and the fact that it is a great value for under $100 doesn’t hurt either! It comes in 6 different color, I bought the color “tan”.

Slip on this simple and sophisticated white midi dress from L SPACE over your swimsuit for an easy, breezy transition from the beach to a date night or a girls night out. I adore the empire waist and halter back because they cast a very slimming silhouette. I also love the waist high slits up the side that create a dreamy romantic vibe.

The Ursula Dress from MISA Los Angeles is a a super fun option for a swimsuit cover up. It features open knit crochet fabric and the pattern has a very unique funky vibe. It is made with an acrylic blend which makes it stretchy, and therefore super comfortable!

When I first saw this gold top and matching skirt from Revolve I immediately knew it was going on my list of the best swimsuit cover-ups for women over 40. The balloon sleeves and and off the shoulder look give this set a sexy edge and they look great together or on their own!

This is the matching skirt to the gold top above and it is just as fabulous! I especially love the shimmery lurex knit fabric that looks far more expensive than it really is. The skirt has a elasticized waist band with a tie closure for the ultimate comfort and security and the length is approximately 39″ so it can be worn by women of all different heights.

Another over-sized shirt style cover up, the Belizin Cover-Up from O’NEILL is a fabulous value for what you get. This item comes in with a fantastic price point of under $50 and comes in several gorgeous colors as well. I especially love the design element of the drapey high-low hem.

Last but not least on my list of best swimsuit cover-ups for women over 40 we have the Millie Tie Cover Up from Revolve. I love the plunging neckline and buckle closure of this cover up, it allows it to function as a cover up OR a full-on dress, so you get twice the use out of one wardrobe item! It also has a detachable waist tie  that can be used for either look.
