I don’t normally do beauty edits, but I thought I might do one here and there because your make-up really is a part of your outfit.  I always try and match my eye and lip color to what I’m wearing and for sure coordinate it with the current season.  As the color pallets of clothes change each season so do the shades of make-up.  In the fall and winter I love wearing plums, grays and burgundies on my eyes and lips.  Since we are currently in the winter season, these are the colors I am going to focus on.  I’ve chosen 9 of my current favorite products I’m using and loving!

1.)  Younique – that is the black case above and it is actually a mascara kit for your eyelashes.  Instead of getting my eyelashes done, as many people do these days I opted to try Younique instead and I’m glad I did.  They really do make your lashes look longer and fuller, even after one application.  It’s basically two tubes – one tube of mascara or they call it gel, and one tube of fibers (this is what really makes your lashes look fuller).  Here is the sequence –

1.) Put one coat of your favorite mascara on

2.)   Put a coat of the gel on

3.)  Put a coat of the fibers on

4.)  Top off with one more coat of the gel

It’s amazing!!  Your lashes will look so fabulous – LONGER AND FULLER!!!  I have so many people ask me what kind of mascara I use since I started using Younique.  It’s only $29!  What a deal!!

2.)  YSL Concealer – As we all get a little older, we need to be sure and use concealer.  It really makes a difference.  This particular brand goes on very smoothly and brightens up the eye area perfectly.

3.)  Tom Ford Black Liquid Eye Liner – This eye liner is amazing – it won’t smudge when you put it on and stays on ALL DAY.  I put a pencil liner on top of this to make the line a little softer in either a navy or plum shade.

4.)  Tom Ford Lip Stick in Bruised Plum – If you have been reading my blog for a while then you already know this is my all time favorite shade to wear in the fall and winter!  The perfect shade of burgundy.  I soften it up by putting a light pink gloss over it for the day time and at night I keep the color dark by topping it off with dark plum gloss.  This lip stick stays on so well which I love!

5.)  Mac Pink Lip Gloss in Ample Pink – This is the perfect color to wear over most shades of lipstick, especially the plums and pinks.  It has a lip booster in it as well which makes your lips appear a bit fuller.  Mac Lip gloss is the best, I’ve been wearing it for years.  It stays on very well and creates the perfect amount of shine.

6.)  Bobbi Brown Lip Stick in Lilac – I love this color for during the day – it looks fabulous with the Mac Lip Gloss!

7.)  Tom Ford Lip Gloss in Wet Violet – I have just started wearing these lip glosses and I love them!  This shade is a bit dark so I only wear at night.  It looks gorgeous on top of the Tom Ford Lip Stick in Bruised Plum.

8.)  Tom Ford Eye Color in Lavender Lust– There are 4 shades in this quadrant – 2 pinks and 2 plums.  These shades look good on almost every eye color.  The purple tones really make your eyes stand out.

9.)  Tom Ford Bronzer –  I think wearing a bronzer is a must.  Even if you don’t wear a lot of make up, bronzer is a basic that really can make a difference.  I always apply mine like a 3 on either side of my face, really concentrating on the area below my cheek bones.  This will create a nice contrast and really make your cheek bones stand out.
