Happy Wednesday gorgeous ladies! I’m so grateful I had the chance to travel to Paris with my sweet Mom for her 70’th birthday! We had the best time exploring, eating at fun restaurants, and of course shopping! We did all the normal touristy things you have to do when you visit Paris such as go to the Louvre, visit the Eiffel Tower, and walk down the Champs-Elysees but instead of boring with you those regular things I’m highlighting 3 things we did on our trip that aren’t so ordinary and that I highly recommend doing if you ever get the chance the travel to Paris! And of course I’ve highlighted 6 looks I wore in Paris plus I’ve included a YouTube video covering our fun trip to Paris so be sure and check that out too! I first want to give a big shout to my dear friend and Dallas photographer Mary Hafner who used to live in Paris and still travels there frequently because it was her Paris travel guide I took with me and literally followed most of it to a T! 3 HIGHLIGHTS FROM OUR TRIP TO PARIS:
1.) STAYING AT LE ROCK HOTEL & SPA: We both fell in love with this fabulous hotel the moment we stepped foot in it! It was centrally located near the famous Ferris Wheel and walking distance from all the best shopping, tons of amazing french bistros, and The Louvre. The decor was very cool, the rooms were spacious, and everyone that worked in this super chic hotel was very friendly and helpful! The best part, the room rate was a very reasonable $400 a night! I highly recommend staying at this incredibly chic boutique hotel if your planning on going to Paris anytime soon! For the price, you seriously can’t be it!
2.) TAKING A FASHION TOUR: This was one of our favorite things we did by far. The cutest little french guy who literally knew everything about every single big-time designer such as Christain Dior and Gabrielle Chanel took us on a leisurely walk through one of the most beautiful shopping districts in all of Paris while telling us the most interesting stories and even some secrets about tons of the most prestigious Parian designers! 3.) TAKING THE RIVER CRUISE: This is hands-down the best way to see the city of Paris without fighting all the crowds. The boat is beautiful and you get to eat dinner while on this relaxing cruise. The food is pretty good and it’s very reasonably priced! You can spectacular views of the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, and so much more! It’s a definite must-do if you ever get the chance to go to Paris! You can click here to book the exact River Cruise we took.
BONUS HIGHLIGHT: HIRING A PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER: I highly recommend hiring a professional photographer even if you’re not an influencer! I’m so thankful I hired Daniel, a very talented photographer that I found through Shoot My Travel. Shoot My Travel is really cool website that allows you to book local photographers in tons of cities all around the world! If you’re traveling to Paris, I highly recommend using Daniel! He was so personable, very detailed when he shot us, and just an all over extremely talented photographer as you can tell from these amazing photos!

SHOP LOOK 1:
I got this gorgeous rose pink satin blazer because I thought the color was just so pretty! I love that the sleeves are made to look pushed up so you don’t have to worry about them coming down. This is a staple piece that can be dressed up and worn to so many places making it well worth the investment. It runs true to size, I’m wearing an XS.
SHOP LOOK 2:
My chic snake print slip dress is by Caminyc and I just think there’s nothing chicer than a simple dress and it’s very Parisian too! I love it worn with an edgy leather jacket draped over it as I did in these photos. The dress runs true to size, I’m wearing an XS.
This super cool leather jacket is one of my favorite recent purchases and I literally wore it all over Paris and got tons of compliments on it. It’s got a very modern silhouette because it’s cropped and has shoulder pads, yes shoulder pads are coming back in style! This cool-girl jacket also runs true to size, I’m wearing an XS.
SHOP LOOK 3:
This green jumpsuit is so fabulous, I love a good jumpsuit because it’s just a one and done kind of outfit so it’s very easy to style. I adore the tie around the waistline making it super flattering and I suggest wearing the pants rolled up once or twice to show off your favorite pair of heels. This fabulous jumpsuit runs true to size, I’m wearing an XS.
SHOP LOOK 4:
This was my travel look to Paris. I always love to travel in all black because I know I won’t end up having any stains show up on my outfit, always a plus! My jeans are super comfy and I literally couldn’t have lived without my chic Golden Goose sneakers while I was in Paris. I wore them every single day because they’re that comfortable! If you don’t already own a pair of Golden Goose sneakers, I highly recommend adding a pair to your sneaker collection. Trust me, they are worth every single penny!
SHOP LOOK 5:
This is a simple look I saw a ton in Paris during the day minus the jacket since it was so hot! Parisians dress very chic but also very simple. I saw tons of denim, simple white or black tanks or tee’s and of course sneakers, always sneakers during the day!!! At night time the chic Parisian women would wear a similar look to this one but with heels instead of sneakers or a dress instead of jeans and most of them were smoking which I’ll have to admit looked very cool, lol! Yes, tons of Parisians smoked and Mom and I were both totally surprised! Have they not gotten the memo yet that smoking is bad for you, lol!
SHOP LOOK 6:
I got these pants while I was shopping in Paris at one of my favorite french boutiques called Iro. I’m sure you ‘ve heard me talk about this amazing French brand, Iro because they make the best leather jackets EVER!!! This paper bag waist trend is very 80’s and is making a huge comeback! I saw this style of pant everywhere while I was walking the streets of Paris and this style of jean was in all of the hottest boutiques! These Iro jeans run true to size, I’m wearing a size XS.
