WHAT TO WEAR TO A HOLIDAY PARTY

I have had a few readers ask me about what they should wear to a holiday party so today’s post is about just that:  WHAT TO WEAR TO A HOLIDAY PARTY.   I wanted to be sure and post this early so you all would have plenty of time to order what you need on line.

I think jewelry is a great way to dress up any look and I’ve discovered an amazing line of jewelry called Argento Vivo, so many on trend pieces all high quality, but very reasonably priced!  My silver choker, cross necklace and silver hoop earrings are all by Argento Vivo. I love their pieces because they’re dainty so they don’t take away from your outfit and the necklaces are perfect for layering!  These pieces dress up this evening look perfectly and are so fun and festive for the holiday season, but can certainly be worn year round!

A velvet blazer is a great piece that will take you to any holiday party or event in style!  This one is from Revolve and I just love the slate blue color, it looks amazing on almost all skin tones.  It’s very versatile, so depending on how dressy your holiday party is you can wear it paired with different pieces.  It can be paired with some jeans a white silk top for a more casual holiday party or for a dressier one try wearing it over a simple black slip dress.  I’ll be wearing this blue velvet blazer to all of my holiday soirees and styling it with different pieces so it will look like an entire different outfit!  It runs true to size, I’m wearing an XS.

My high-waisted black leggings are by Theory, they’re sooooo slimming yet incredibly comfortable!  I hosted a party at the new Theory store in HP Village, thank you to all who came by the way!  Every single person that tried these pants on that night bought them (including a few Dallas bloggers) because they’re that good!  The material is thick enough so they hold everything in and since they’re high-rise they make your legs look super long and they’re wrinkle free so they’re great to travel in too!  I love the cool zipper detailing at the bottom, it allows you to show off your favorite heel of the moment!  They run true to size, I’m wearing a size 0 and they also come in navy.  I’ll be wearing these pants a ton this season to events and parties and I’m sure you will be too if you decide to get them!

I’m in love with these incredibly chic metallic gun metal heels by Stuart Weitzman, I’m literally obsessed with them!  They go with everything because of their gorgeous dark silver shade and they’re much more comfortable than the original Nudist heel by Stuart Weitzman because the heel height is 4 inches instead of 5 and trust me, that makes a big difference!  These will be my go-to heel this season, I’ll be wearing them a ton with dresses, skirts, and of course jeans!
