I met Heather through a friend that recommended her warmth, kindness , and adorable sense of style. Heather met me at my house and she got to know me, my interests and my lifestyle. We edited my closet and she did a great job helping me get rid of those items that have been hanging for years and I never wear. Next, we booked a shopping trip. I literally walked in a dressing room, she had everything organized, with choices of shoes and fun necklaces to match. There was no pressure and we were done in 2 hours. Heather did an amazing job giving me tons of options, while staying within my budget. She really found great stuff that was vey reasonable.
I had such a great experience shopping with Heather, I gave my husband a gift certificate for our Anniversary. He does not like to shop at all and I told him he just had to trust me. ….He met Heather, she was so organized, they were completely done in one hour. He needed his wardrobe updated desperately and she found him amazing clothes for work and casual wear. Heather handled the alterations and delivered the items to our house. My husband came home and said That was Great” Now he gets why I like clothes!!! She makes it fun, easy and affordable.Melinda Russ
OK – you are a peach! I know for a fact that Matt gave you a TINY window to do your thing, and yet you still managed to do it perfectly! You are a rock star!! Thank you for all your wonderful selections!!! Matt was sweet to think of you (and to do that for my birthday).
I love it all, but my very favorite thing is the bright coral-ish fringed sweater! Adorable! I am so excited about that. I also love the little cream fringed crocheted cardigan – – it sort of reminds me of that cute one you have from Calypso that I loved but could not get last year. I LOVE the strappy sandals! Did they happen to have them in black? If I knew that I could afford to have several awesome pairs of shoes in every color, I would for sure keep them, because I LOVE them, and they are so comfy! But you picked out those great ones from Saks last year that are nude and they are still my fav, fav, favs – – I get so many compliments on them every time I wear them! But I really need some great black sandals that would work for going out and for work – – with jeans or pants. The tan ones you picked this week are great and would be perfect in black – – do you think?
I especially love the poncho you picked that is cotton and looks sort of like a handkerchief print.
You are great – – you knew what to grab without even talking to me. I would have been horrified for Matt to shop for me and have to figure our sized — disaster.
Just wanted to say thank you!!!
Thanks so much Heather for your help picking out new spring clothes and accessories. When I walked into the dressing area and there were clothes all set out and grouped for trying on-that was such a help! You showed me how to mix pieces that I needed with those I already had to make a newer wardrobe with spring trends! Thank you so much for helping with sizes and styles that really work for me. And thanks for keeping me “on trend”!
I just sat and read through you Blog – it looks awesome way to go!! You look stunning in all the pictures!! I definitely need to get an army jacket and washed out jeans. Cannot wait to see more looks for spring!!
Love you blog Heather!! I got some good tips from your entries!!!
Loving all my new clothes — wear everything every single week! My favorites have been — well, all of them!
I just had a fantastic shopping experience with Heather. I am not a shopper, do not have an eye for clothes and I don’t have much time to shop, but I have to attend a multiple-day company event soon. I told Heather about it, what I thought I might wear and what I thought I might want to wear. Heather came prepared, meeting me at my two favorite retailers, assembling more clothes than I could even try on, and guiding me, professionally and with an accomplished sense of style to several purchases (yes, we did clothes, scarves, jewelry and shoes–all in one trip). She executed this “project” (me) efficiently, like a business plan. She had my goals (going to a business meeting), she figured out the deliverables (how to dress this xx year old woman who likes this store’s clothes) and she had methods to achieve the goals: (let’s update her with some bright colors and accessories that look great on her apple figure), then we tested together (I tried on and she kept the clothes coming) until – voila! Acceptance (not only by me but my husband, who said “This is the most put together you have ever looked”). I buy clothes and shoes from these stores all the time, but none have looked as good as the ones Heather picked out. I am amazed at the prep work she must have done (or, more likely, already had in her bank of style information).
I had some major purchases a few years back at a great Dallas store with a reputation for service – and I did not receive 1/5 of the attention and expertise on that shopping trip that Heather gave me. I remember spending many dollars on that earlier spree and not wearing the clothes much at all because, well, I really didn’t like them. Not so, with the things Heather put together for me. I’m still wondering how she did it. Actually, I don’t have to know HOW she did it, just WHO to call next time. And, that person is Heather. Call her, and let her amaze you, too!

I’m a senior in high school at Trinity Christian Academy. For my senior pictures with Innovative Images, 6-7 outfits were required for the shoot and I knew Heather would be the perfect personal shopper. I could tell that Heather knew my style right off the bat because every store she took me to was just what I had in mind. After telling Heather that I wanted something a little different, something I’d never worn before, she took me to a few stores before finding the outfit that was my first choice in the shoot. The photographer kept complimenting not only the clothes, but the accessories I had brought as well. I don’t know if the pictures would have turned out as good as they did if I hadn’t of had Heather as my personal shopper. So- thanks again Heather for your tips and your amazing sense of fashion! Couldn’t have done it without you!
